Trina Olson

CMSCA President
Milaca High School

I am honored to be serving as your president and to be working with such an amazing group of dedicated professionals!   I am currently in my eleventh year as a school counselor for 7th-12th graders at Milaca High School.  Prior to working as a school counselor, I was an agriculture teacher for eight years.  I am passionate about advocating for our profession and students and am excited to have the opportunity to continue to work to support and collaborate with school counselors in the Central region and across the State!  My husband and I live in Braham, MN with our two daughters.  We stay very busy with basketball, volleyball, softball, and other school activities.  In my free time, I love being outside!  I enjoy camping, hunting, reading, and anything related to the North Shore (especially fishing Lake Superior).

Dan Fischer

Past President
Forestview Middle School

Hello Central Minnesota School Counselors! I am honored to be serving as the Past President of the Central Division. This year, I will be starting my 9th year as a school counselor, and 8th year in the Brainerd School District! Each year, I am impressed by how many talented, hard working school counselors we have in Central Minnesota and I am excited to work with you all. Advocating for students, and advocating for school counseling is a passion of mine and what better way to be an advocate than participating in your local division. This is my 6th year being a part of the CMSCA and this involvement has helped me grow as an advocate and leader, and has helped me develop positive professional relationships with my colleagues. My Fiance, Alanna and I will be getting married this coming January, and we have a wonderful son Gavin who is one year old. We also have a 4 year old dog named Ruby who is still learning to share her toys with Gavin! In our spare time, we love spending time with family, and we love camping, and being outdoors. I can’t wait to meet you all and hope you have a wonderful school year.

Shelly Collison

ROCORI High School

Hello Counselors! My name is Shelly Collison and I will be your CMSCA Treasurer. This is my eighth year as a school counselor, and my second at ROCORI High School! This year is proving to be just as busy and hectic as the last. There is always something new around the corner to experience and learn, which is one thing I love about being a counselor. In my free time I enjoy being outside, spending time with my family and friends, and doing anything that involves photography. I look forward to meeting and building connections with all of you at the Winter Conference and throughout the school year!

Ricky Rud

Public Relations
North Junior High School

I am enjoying my sixth year at North Jr High in St. Cloud.  I am the 8th grade counselor for the 2018-19 school year.  I really enjoy working with middle school students due to their high energy and curiosity.

I am married to my best friend, Amber.  She is my calm, better half.  Amber works at the Westwood Church office and also serves monthly as a member of the Air National Guard. We have two daughters, Lydia and Elliana.

I enjoy spending time with my family, being active outside, and watching and playing basketball.

I love being a counselor because I get to use my goofy sense of humor with young people while also being an advocate for students.

Bill Lepkowski

St. Cloud State University

My name is Bill Lepkowski and I am a professor and school counseling program coordinator at St. Cloud State University (SCSU). I am in my 12th year at SCSU working with counseling students and specializing in instructing and supervising school counselors-in-training. This is also my 12th year serving on the Central Minnesota School Counselor Association board and I have been a member of ASCA and MSCA for many years. Currently I serve as the CMSCA and MSCA Ethics Chair. I am excited to continue to be involved in, support, and promote the important work of school counselors.

Hayley Endersbe

President Elect
Sauk Centre
Secondary School

Hello CMSCA!
My name is Hayley Endersbe and I am a School Counselor at Sauk Centre Secondary School. I am the only counselor at my 7-12 school but I have loved having the opportunity to connect with other school counselors as a member of the CMSCA board. I absolutely love getting to know my students and being an advocate and a resource for them. One thing I love about my position as a licensed school counselor is that I am always learning more about what it means to be a good school counselor. Good luck to everyone in your own schools and remember to take moments for yourself when you can.
